How Does thee SpineForce Reactive Neuromuscular Trainer Work?

The SpineForce Reactive Neuromuscular Trainer requires your body to perform unique muscular exercises in an environment that challenges your somatosensory system. (This system informs you about objects in your external environment through your sense of touch).  This type of active rehabilitation that SpineForce creates capitalizes on the natural interactions between neurological input and muscular performance. This combination has been shown to improve strength, coordination, balance and posture.

The SpineForce Trainer has an oscillating platform that creates just enough instability to require your sensory and motor systems to react and modify each other.  Two handles are connected to a movable column. The patient holds these two handles which have highly-sensitive sensors that monitor the force applied on them. As the platform oscillates, the patient works to balance a target that appears on the control panel. The SpineForce device continually monitors the force applied by the patient and responds by providing appropriate resistance to exercise the core muscles and encourage the neural pathways to respond correctly.
